Founded in 1961, the Antoine Lacassagne Center is one of the 18 French Cancer Centers of the Unicancer network. It fulfills missions of care, research and teaching in oncology. The Antoine Lacassagne Center treats of all types of cancer and receives more than 6,400 patients per year. It is a private, non-profit institution.

The Antoine Lacassagne Center takes care of all types of cancer in coordination with the Nice University Hospital (Archet Hospital and Pasteur Hospital) and the Nice Lenval Pediatric University Hospital.

The Antoine Lacassagne Center has one of the most complete technical platforms in Europe: low and high energy protontherapy, CyberKnife®, intraoperative radiotherapy, brachytherapy, contact radiotherapy, interventional radiology, scanner, MRI Total Digital Imaging High Resolution with Air Technology antenna, tomosynthesis mammography, 100% digital PET camera

Recognized expertise in many specialties and two internationally recognized reference structures: the University Institute of the Face and Neck (ENT and maxillofacial pathologies) and the Mediterranean Institute of ProtonTherapy (high and low energy protontherapy).
